Located in Ferreira do Alentejo, is a charming destination that provides a unique stay for its guests. A different tourism concept, special attention to detail, a welcoming and comfortable environment, a feeling of being with family, a home away from home… The D. Diogo Maldonado Passanha mansions, an old manor house built in the 18th century and the João Carlos Infante Passanha Palace, an old manor house built between the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century, located in the center of the town of Ferreira do Alentejo, in Portugal, were built by an influential family from Ferreira do Alentejo, their interior was modified several times throughout history, eventually being occupied by a college, and at that time receiving the popular name of Solar dos Frades. Some rooms inside were decorated with mural paintings, probably executed by João Eloy Amaral. At the end of the 20th century or beginning of the 21st century, restoration works were carried out and both buildings were adapted into a housing tourism unit, together forming the Solar dos Frades tourism unit.
